You will be a member of the CMAAS team focusing on serving clients in the financial sector. As part of this team, you will use your technical skills to further improve our advanced apps and tools.

PwC’s financial services team within the Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (“CMAAS”) business unit is growing rapidly through the  services being provided to banks and insurers in risk, regulatory and accounting. This growth creates interesting functions for accountants and risk professionals. As an FS Analytics working student, you will be a member of our Financial Services (FS) team within CMAAS, particularly focusing on improving our advanced apps and tools and supporting with the further development of a number of data driven client propositions. These apps and tools are used by our consultants to solve important problems and/or used by our clients as key digital solutions.

You are in the end phase of your studies, preferably in your master’s program. You like to solve complex puzzles and to make impact with your technical skills.

  • You have finished your bachelor’s degree (or are about to) in computer science, (software) engineering, econometrics, physics, mathematics or a related study program from a university, with good results.
  • You have experience with SQL and/or R, Javascript, Python and C#.
  • You combine clear communication skills with technical knowledge.
  • You can work independently.
  • You are an ambitious team player who enjoys producing quality.
  • You have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Your job
You will be a member of the CMAAS team focusing on serving clients in the financial sector. As part of this team, you will use your technical skills to further improve our advanced apps and tools. Your tasks will mainly focus on interpreting business requirements and to program these in our digital client solutions. Your work does not stop at interpreting and programming, you will also play a role in further developing our client propositions in the financial sector. As an FS Analytics working student, you will be working in a young and dynamic team with a great passion for regulatory (particularly banking capital and liquidity regulation) and IFRS accounting topics. Your contribution to enable us to solve important and complex problems for our clients and deliver practical advice and insights to our clients.

  • You get a personal coach (a professional from our practice).
  • The term of the contract is six months, with an involvement of at least two days a week.

Our daily job entails advising and supporting our clients on complex matters, including implementation of changes in banking regulation (e.g. Basel III/IV (CRR/CRD)), credit risk modelling, and advising on regulatory and accounting implications of complex transactions and deals.
