Finance & Risk Trainee
Ready to accelerate your personal leadership journey at the Netherlands’ largest financial services provider? As a Finance & Risk Trainee at NN Group, you’ll dive into high-impact assignments—both in the Netherlands and abroad—where you’ll help shape our financial future. From asset & liability management and pricing to risk modelling and data-driven decision-making, you’ll be at the heart of our transformation. If you're eager to grow into a strategic role with real influence, this traineeship is your launchpad.
What you are going to do
Over the course of two years, you’ll complete three dynamic assignments across different business units, ranging from our bank and insurance divisions to headquarters and brands like OHRA and Movir. There is even a possibility to take on an international assignment in cities like Madrid, Prague or Tokyo.
Your first assignment will be matched to your background and strengths. For the second and third, you’ll take the lead, designing your own path based on your interests and development goals. Whether you’re drawn to risk modelling, business intelligence, IFRS17, reporting or investor relations, the choice is yours. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all: we believe in empowering you to shape your own future.
Alongside your assignments, you’ll join the Future Leaders Programme, focused on developing personal leadership. You’ll also receive expert-led training in project and stakeholder management, data & AI, and finance-specific topics like IFRS17, Solvency II and pricing. The skills you gain and the network you build will guide you toward the role that suits you best after your traineeship.
