Junior Investment Professional Public Markets

NNIO/Public Markets is currently looking for ambitious professional to join our teams as a Public Markets investment professional in the Hague, the Netherlands.

What you are going to do

• You will work closely in a team to carry out tasks that represent the actual work performed by the team
• Principally focused on working with colleagues to support monitoring and evaluating of external managed fixed income strategies
• Participate in investment meetings with different stakeholders both inside and outside the organization
• Contribute to the further integration of ESG in the investment process. Develop and execute initiatives to advance sustainability and help bringing the portfolios to the next level of sustainable value creation

Who you are

• A relevant Masters’ degree, combined with a minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of financial markets and a profound interest in macroeconomics
• Strong analytical skills, proactive, dedicated and result oriented
• You are accountable and have attention to quality and detail
• You are open minded and like to work in an international environment
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments with different projects for  you to work on
• Solid communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written form

Who you will work with

The NN Investment Office (NNIO) is the Centre of Excellence of investments for the Insurance Companies of NN Group. Within NNIO, the Public Markets Team is responsible for the manager monitoring and evaluation of external managed strategies. It Is also responsible for the integration and implementation of ESG in the investment processes.

You will be part of a public markets team operating in a large organization, with a joint drive to improve the NN investment portfolios.
