What you are going to do

In this role, you will transform data into insights and insights into meaningful improvements. By analysing and refining underwriting rules across markets, you contribute directly to NN’s transformation toward AI-assisted, insight-driven processes. You will also:

Analyse and compare local underwriting rules across NN’s international business units
Identify patterns, overlaps and opportunities for harmonisation and improvement
Use data analytics to uncover insights that guide decision-making and enhance efficiency
Collaborate with business units to interpret findings and communicate complex results clearly
Help translate underwriting data into concrete improvements for AI-assisted decision-making

We offer this job fully remote as a virtual assignment. As part of this role, you will have an employment contract under the local collective labour agreement (CLA) from one of the NN International countries participating in this workstream. This means you can apply for the job if you reside in the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Spain, and Greece. Who you are

You are curious and data-driven, but also understand that numbers only tell part of the story. You can connect data insights with the business context and communicate them clearly to different audiences. You enjoy working across borders and cultures and feel at home in an international, collaborative environment. You also bring:

Solid analytical experience, preferably within a data, business analysis or actuarial context
An interest in or familiarity with the insurance or underwriting domain
Experience using Python and data tools such as SQL, Excel and Power BI or Tableau
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations
